Pirate Party London

We have a rough schedule for London meetings in 2014. The plan is that there will be at least two meetings a month. We’re keeping the mid-month meeting on the Wednesday, and it’ll be the third Wednesday of the month. Our second date will be the first Saturday of the month, except where it falls on the 1st. Everyone is welcome to attend, this includes members, supporters, those who aren’t quite convinced yet, etc. If you’re considering standing for an election in London (at any level), we strongly recommend you attend these meetings, and we’ll help you get started!

Venues & Times

The Wednesday venue will remain as the Metropolitan Bar next to Baker Street tube station. For the Saturday venue we use the Fire Station bar next to Waterloo train station.

Times for the Saturday meet may vary, while the Wednesday meet starts from 6:30pm.

In the coming meetings, we’ll be looking for volunteers to run their own Pirate meets in their own areas if they think there’s enough interest. Ideally by the end of the year, or early 2015 we’d like to see regular Pirate meetings in all parts of London: NE, NW, SE, SW, and Central.

These meetings are supposed to be a place to get together, meet new faces and socialise, as well as discuss plans for local areas and wider Pirate plans. There’ll be no formal agenda for these meets; people will be free to discuss their ideas in as much detail as everyone else can tolerate.

Please check the Pirate Party London Meetup page for time and dates of London meetings.
